From a cardboard-box stove
to The Wild Harvest Kitchen.
A childhood love of making food, a mother’s encouragement, and a dream that grew into a place where people gather around the table.
Long before there was a restaurant, there was a little girl playing kitchen.
My mom made me a stovetop out of a cardboard box, and I would spend hours “cooking” for my dolls. Apples and water became soup, and in my imagination, I had my very own little kitchen.
I didn’t know it then, but those simple childhood moments were planting a seed. My mom first inspired my love for cooking, creating, and caring for people through food. Though she is no longer here, her influence lives on in so much of what we do at The Wild Harvest Kitchen.
The Wild Harvest Kitchen is lovingly dedicated to my mom — the woman who first gave me a kitchen and inspired a dream.
